In this episode of the EAZY Spotlight series I’m joined by the uber talented Kuda Mushangi aka Studio.kudakwashe. An artist and architecture student, Kuda is defining what it means to live EAZY. In the past year, his art has taken the national stage as an Holy Arts gallery prize winner, Tate collective billboard artist as well as features in Artist Talk magazine and many others. This is all while working 8 to 8 as an architectural assistant on his pursuit to become an architect.
As if Kuda is not already busy enough with all that, he’s also part of RIBA (The professional body of architects) and EDI (Equality, diversity and inclusion) committees recently featuring on @livuniarch guest lecture series raising awareness of the black experience in his industry and art. As you listen to the episode and go on to explore his work, this is where you’ll begin to understand the talent Kuda has in sharing his voice.
In this episode, we discuss everything from choosing his career path, balancing his passion for art and architecture, the strategy behind growing your brand, and what’s next for Kuda.
